A London jury at Southwark Crown Court unanimously found British comedian Russell Brand guilty of one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault.
The criminal charges relate to offences committed between 1999 and 2009, with the jury reaching its verdict after an eight-and-a-half-hour deliberation.
Judge Joel Bennathan denied Brand bail and warned of a significant prison sentence, with the final sentencing hearing scheduled for this Monday.
