Thailand's 20-year-old sprinter Puripol Boonson won the men's 200m final at the Asian Games on Sunday at the Nagoya City Mizuho Park Athletic Stadium.
Boonson clocked 19.88 seconds to equal the Asian record set by China's Xie Zhenye in 2019, securing a historic sprint double.
He previously broke the Asian Games 100m record on Friday with a time of 9.90 seconds to clinch the gold medal.
