Tonopah Valley High School Cancels Football Season Amid Investigation

Saddle Mountain Unified School District Superintendent Michael Winters announced the cancellation of the entire football season for Tonopah Valley High School on Friday.

The decision follows a criminal investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct involving students during a football camp held in Williams this past July.

Several faculty members have been placed on administrative leave, and the district is currently exploring alternative workout programs for the affected student-athletes.
