WhatsApp rolled out optional parental controls on September 30 to help parents monitor who their teenagers connect with on the messaging platform.
Parents can manage privacy settings such as profile photo visibility, group additions, and channel usage by using a single parent-set PIN.
The update preserves WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption, ensuring personal messages and calls remain private and inaccessible to outsiders.
