Over 77% of Rajasthan’s Illegal Mining FIRs Filed in Aravalli Districts

Data shows that Aravalli districts in Rajasthan account for more than 77% of all First Information Reports lodged for illegal mining in the state.

Between 2020 and 2023, the state recorded 28,166 illegal mining cases, with 56% registered in Aravalli districts despite them having fewer leases.
