UN Chief Antonio Guterres Commends India's Mediation Efforts

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres criticized the paralysis of the Security Council and a culture of impunity among global superpowers during an exclusive interview in New Delhi.

Guterres commended India's ongoing efforts at mediation between Russia and Ukraine while on the sidelines of the BRICS summit.

The UN chief, who demits office at the end of the year, also addressed UN reforms, the election of his successor, and developments in West Asia and Gaza.
