Actor Lara Dutta portrays Queen Kaikeyi in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, describing the historical figure as one of the most misunderstood women in Indian history.
The film, which opened globally on November 5, represents one of the largest productions in Indian cinema with backing from the DNEG studio.
The production aims for a wide international release across 70,000 screens through a partnership with Sony Pictures.
