India Defeats Pakistan 19-0 in Junior Women's Hockey Asia Cup

Defending champion India secured a spot in the Junior Women's Hockey Asia Cup semifinals by thrashing Pakistan 19-0 in the quarterfinals held in China on Thursday.

Pooja Sahu opened the scoring in the seventh minute, while Pooka Malik contributed a hat-trick and Supriya and Purnima Yadav each added a brace to the massive tally.

India, which topped its group after defeating Japan, Malaysia, and South Korea, will now face the winner of the South Korea versus Malaysia match for a place in the final.
