Police Arrest Two for Petrol Bomb Attack on Sangrur BJP Office

Sangrur police arrested two youths for hurling a petrol bomb at the local BJP office, registering a case under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

Investigations revealed the suspects were allegedly hired by a cross-border handler and received a payment of ₹2,200 to execute the attack and film the incident.

The attack has drawn strong condemnation from senior BJP leaders, with police now investigating potential links to broader subversive networks operating in the region.
