Tamil Nadu police booked a school principal, teacher, and two students for abetment to suicide after a Class 11 Dalit student was found dead in Coimbatore on October 21.
Parents alleged the boy was targeted for his caste and for consuming beef, leading to the principal and teacher being suspended and all four suspects detained.
Political leaders demanded swift investigations and arrests, while the victim's father protested outside the Coimbatore district collectorate demanding justice.
