Gymnast Pranati Nayak Chases Maiden Asian Games Medal

Indian gymnast Pranati Nayak departed for the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, on Wednesday night to pursue a maiden medal in her fourth appearance.

The 31-year-old athlete confirmed she is fully recovered from plantar fasciitis following a three-week rest after the Commonwealth Games.

Coach Ashok Mishra stated that the initial priority is to safely navigate qualification routines before deciding on high-difficulty vaults in the final.
