HDFC Bank Forwards Two Candidates to RBI for MD and CEO Post

HDFC Bank's board approved and forwarded the names of two candidates along with proposed remuneration to the Reserve Bank of India for the next MD and CEO.

The new chief executive will serve a three-year tenure, succeeding incumbent Sashidhar Jagdishan, who opted not to seek another term.

The board also approved reappointing V. Srinivasa Rangan as Executive Director, appointed Jimmy Tata as Executive Director, and created an additional Whole-time Director position.
