Sprinter Elliot Jones Secures Spot in Commonwealth Games Squad

At age 28, sprinter Elliot Jones has been selected to represent Team England at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow after a breakthrough year.

Jones, who ranks among the top ten men in the country, previously earned his first international call-up for the World Relays in Botswana earlier this year.

The athlete, who trains at Loughborough University, is now targeting a position in the squad for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games as his next primary goal.
