Jasprit Bumrah Ruled Out of Sri Lanka Test Series

Top-ranked Test bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been withdrawn from India's upcoming two-Test series against Sri Lanka due to a persistent left knee injury.

The 32-year-old sustained the injury during the second ODI against England last month and failed to clear a fitness assessment at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence.

Bumrah, who previously missed the one-off Test against Afghanistan in June, has no named replacement in the squad led by captain Shubman Gill.
