Rahul Gandhi Protests at Delhi Police Station Over Pellet Gun Injuries

Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi staged a sit-in at the Parliament Street Police Station on August 21, 2026, demanding an FIR for pellet injuries sustained by a protester.

The victim, 19-year-old Sahil Lochab, suffered eye and abdomen injuries during a July 20 protest against the NEET paper leak and subsequently underwent surgery at the AIIMS Trauma Centre.

Congress party officials stated that despite multiple attempts to file a complaint since August 14, the Delhi Police have failed to provide an I/O number or register a formal case.
