Bangladesh Celebrates Durga Puja Under Heavy Security Arrangements

Bangladesh is celebrating Durga Puja across 33,851 puja mandaps this year, marking an increase of nearly 1,500 venues from the previous year.

Authorities deployed extensive security measures, including round-the-clock surveillance, police personnel, SWAT, and bomb disposal teams.

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir urged communal harmony and assured equal rights for citizens of all faiths.
