Essar Ports Secures Rs 2,276-Crore Tuna Tekra Multipurpose Terminal Project

Essar Ports received a Letter of Award from Deendayal Port Authority to develop a multipurpose cargo terminal at Tuna Tekra in Kandla, Gujarat, for Rs 2,276.06 crore.

The project will be executed on a build, operate, and transfer model under a public-private partnership, with Essar contributing Rs 1,552.57 crore.

The terminal will feature four berths with an aggregate length of 1,200 metres and handle an annual cargo capacity of 18.33 million tonnes.
