The incident involved a severe altitude drop during the flight, prompting a high-level probe into the pilot's medical fitness and the airline's safety protocols.

The DGCA has been urged to take immediate disciplinary action against the pilot, with the probe agency labeling the drug use a serious threat to aviation safety.
