India's 18-year-old squash player Anahat Singh lost to Malaysian world No. 4 Sivasangari Subramaniam in the PSA Silicon Valley Open semi-finals.
Despite Anahat taking the first game, Subramaniam secured a 3-1 victory to maintain her dominance in their recent head-to-head encounters.
Anahat reached her career-best gold-level semi-final after defeating three top-ranked Egyptian players, including world No. 3 Nour El Sherbini.
