The Gujarat government declared Devbhoomi Dwarka, Kutch, Jamnagar, and Porbandar as drought-affected districts following insufficient monsoon rainfall.
Affected farmers will receive ₹8,500 per hectare for up to two hectares under the State Disaster Response Fund to mitigate crop losses.
The state also initiated fodder subsidies at ₹2 per kilo and will provide 150 days of employment under the new rural mission starting November 1.
