Imran Khan's Three Sisters Arrested Ahead of Planned Protest in Pakistan

Pakistan police arrested former prime minister Imran Khan's three sisters, Aleema Khan, Dr Uzma Khan, and Noreen Khan, ahead of a planned party protest.

The Lahore deputy commissioner issued two separate 30-day detention orders for the sisters under the Punjab province Maintenance of Public Order law.

PTI party leaders announced plans for a public demonstration on September 27, which Information Minister Attaullah Tarar declared illegal.
