Bihar Vigilance Raids Engineer in Disproportionate Assets Case

The Vigilance Investigation Bureau on Thursday conducted simultaneous raids at four locations linked to Rural Works Department Executive Engineer Chandra Shekhar Singh in a disproportionate assets case.

Investigators recovered ₹3 lakh from his Patna flat, ₹2 lakh from his Katihar residence, and approximately 250 grams of gold and silver jewellery.

The bureau registered a case after finding he allegedly possessed ₹1.10 crore in illegal assets exceeding known income sources, alongside land documents registered in his wife's name.
