Andrew Flintoff Resigns as England Lions Head Coach

Andrew Flintoff has resigned as England Lions head coach after nearly two years, with Mike Yardy set to take charge for the upcoming match against Pakistan on August 12.

Flintoff, who took the role in September 2024, will transition to his new position as head coach of the Sydney Thunder for the upcoming Big Bash League season.

ECB Men's Performance Director Ed Barney credited Flintoff with transforming the Lions program and helping develop a new generation of young players during his tenure.
