Producer Namit Malhotra confirmed that Ramayana Part 2 has been postponed from its original 2027 window to 2028 to allow adequate time for post-production work.
Malhotra noted that the makers created two distinct master versions for Part 1, including an English version featuring a separate edit and rewritten script for global audiences.
The makers are also considering expanding the epic cinematic adaptation into a trilogy depending on audience feedback to the first part.
