India Names Shreyas Iyer-Led Squad for Three-Match T20I Series Against Afghanistan

India has announced a near full-strength 15-member squad for the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan, with Shreyas Iyer named as captain for the fixtures starting September 13.

The squad features eight changes from the recent Zimbabwe tour, including the return of Jasprit Bumrah, Sanju Samson, and Varun Chakaravarthy to the national setup.

All three matches are scheduled to be held in New Delhi on September 13, 15, and 17, with the participation of Bumrah, Harshit Rana, Nitish Kumar Reddy, and Washington Sundar subject to fitness.
