Delhi Health Minister Reviews H1N1 Preparedness Amid Case Surge

Delhi Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh chaired a review meeting on August 25, 2026, as the city's H1N1 influenza case count reached 2,308, up from 1,777 on August 21.

Authorities have established dedicated H1N1 wards in government hospitals and directed the Directorate of Education to reinforce respiratory hygiene practices across all schools in the capital.

While officials report no ICU admissions for H1N1 so far, the health department is intensifying surveillance and awareness campaigns in coordination with the Delhi Metro and transport agencies.
