Chhattisgarh Government Raises Monthly Stipends for PG Medical and Dental Residents

The Chhattisgarh government approved a hike in monthly stipends for postgraduate medical and dental students enrolled in government colleges, effective October 1.

First-year PG medical stipends increased from ₹67,500 to ₹85,050, while second- and third-year stipends rose to ₹90,027 and ₹93,996 respectively.

Postgraduate medical stipends received a 26% hike across all three years, while dental residents' stipends increased by nearly 59%.
