IIT Mandi, alongside Plaksha University and the IDYM Foundation, initiated the 'Science on Wheels' programme in Himachal Pradesh to promote practical science education.
Backed by the Department of Science and Technology, the initiative was launched on October 17 at the IIT Mandi Campus School in Professor Laxmidhar Behera's presence.
The programme aims to cover 50 schools across districts like Mandi, Kullu, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, and Kangra, targeting students in classes VI to XII with hands-on modules.
