Tamil Fantasy Romance Series ‘Love Always’ Premise Undone by Juvenile Treatment

Tamil filmmaker Madhumitha adapted a Korean webtoon into the eight-episode JioHotstar fantasy romance series 'Love Always', starring Jayaprakash, Jayasudha, Gouri Kishan, and Ramzan Muhammed.

The plot follows an elderly, estranged couple who magically transform back into their younger selves, granting them a chance to revisit their marriage and reconnect with their family.

Critics noted that the series treated its high-concept premise with off-handed immaturity and missed opportunities to explore deeper emotional and physical ramifications of age reversal.
