PM Modi congratulates Lula on re-election in Brazil

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on his presidential re-election win.

Lula secured a record fourth presidential term after defeating Flávio Bolsonaro by nearly 4.4 million votes, capturing 51.8% of the total vote.

PM Modi expressed eagerness to deepen the India-Brazil Strategic Partnership and advance shared priorities across the Global South.
