UP ATS Arrests Three Over Pakistan-Linked Plot in Lucknow

The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad arrested three men and a juvenile for plotting a targeted killing of an Army or police official in Lucknow on instructions from a Pakistan-based handler.

The suspects, promised three lakh rupees and instructed to flee to Nepal, were found with a foreign-made pistol and 20 cartridges following operations on October 30, 2026.

Authorities are examining mobile devices containing suspicious chats, virtual number accounts, and location details alongside financial transactions linked to the conspiracy.
