Display maker BenQ reports that education accounts for nearly 30 percent of its India business, holding over 60 percent of the country's installed base of smart classrooms.

The company has supplied more than four lakh of the estimated seven lakh Indian classrooms equipped with projectors or interactive flat panels.

Managing Director Rajeev Singh noted that BenQ has deployed second-generation edge AI chipsets in its latest panels and expects annual turnover in India to surpass ₹1,000 crore.
