St. Lucia Kings Secure Narrow Victory in CPL Opener

The St. Lucia Kings defeated the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons by four runs in the Caribbean Premier League 2026 opener on August 9.

Andries Gous led the Kings' total of 187 for 8 with a score of 82 off 51 balls, while Maheesh Theekshana and Roston Chase each took 2 for 18.

Despite a rapid 48 off 24 balls from Evin Lewis, the Falcons finished at 183 for 7 after Matthew Forde defended 13 runs in the final over.
