Two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu defeated Japan's Hina Akechi 21-10, 20-22, 21-16 in a semi-final match to reach the French Open final.
The victory marks Sindhu's second BWF World Tour Super 750 final appearance of the season, following her title win at the Japan Open in July.
Sindhu will face top seed, world No. 1, and reigning Olympic champion An Se Young in the Sunday title clash.
