IndiGo announced it will cease its widebody aircraft operations by October 25, 2026, and return its leased Boeing 787 fleet to Norse Atlantic.
The decision marks a strategic shift for the airline, which will effectively end its current long-haul services to destinations like London and Amsterdam.
Following this move, Air India will remain the only Indian carrier operating twin-aisle aircraft for international routes for the foreseeable future.
