Tata Group Reports ₹28,800 Crore Loss in New Ventures

Tata Group's new business ventures reported a combined loss of ₹28,800 crore for FY26, prompting Chairman N. Chandrasekaran to urge shareholders to maintain a long-term investment perspective.

Despite these losses, the group's overall annual profit rose by 51.9% to ₹1.7 lakh crore, with total revenue reaching ₹16.24 lakh crore for the fiscal year ending March 2026.

Air India's losses doubled to ₹22,238 crore, as the group continues to double down on its strategic investments in AI and the ongoing turnaround of its aviation assets.
