Iran's military announced a $30,000 bounty on Sunday for the killing or capturing of US soldiers, with the reward doubling if the act is performed by a woman.
Army chief Amir Hatami stated the reward is equivalent to 5 billion tomans, noting that the plan follows numerous requests for financial support to participate in the ongoing conflict.
Tensions between the two nations have remained high since the war began on February 28, with sporadic fighting centered around southern Iran and the Strait of Hormuz.
