Lok Sabha to Debate Anti-Paper Leak Bill Amid Opposition Protests

The Lok Sabha will hold a six-hour debate on the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill on Tuesday following a consensus between the government and Opposition.

Minister of State Jitendra Singh announced plans to establish fast-track courts for paper leak cases and a task force to recommend comprehensive examination reforms.

Opposition parties submitted 93 amendments to the bill while demanding accountability for alleged police violence against student protesters during the July 20 demonstrations.
