Nestle India Rejects FSSAI Baby Formula Legal Action Reports

Nestle India rejected media reports of FSSAI legal action over baby formula on September 18, 2026, calling them factually incorrect.

The FMCG stock fell 1.4 percent to 1,353.10 rupees on Friday as the company faced scrutiny over infant nutrition product claims and biotin levels.

Nestle stated that its products comply with regulations and its labels were approved by an expert FSSAI committee.
