
Unified Payments Interface transaction volume rose 27% to around 145 billion in the first half of the current fiscal year, compared to 114 billion a year prior.
Data released by the National Payments Corporation of India showed that transaction value grew 20% to ₹177 lakh crore against ₹148 lakh crore in the same period.
For September, UPI volume moderated by 1.7% to 24.07 billion from 24.5 billion in August, while monthly value declined 1.5% to ₹29.37 lakh crore.
