Noida Bus Fire: Nine Dead, Crew Arrested For Culpable Homicide

Nine people died after a tourist bus traveling from Delhi to Mahoba caught fire on the Yamuna Expressway in Jewar on Wednesday night.

Police arrested the driver Pavan Kumar, Yogesh Dixit, and conductor Rohit on culpable homicide charges following an FIR by a survivor.

The vehicle had accumulated 55 challans since April 2023 and allegedly transported goods on its roof in violation of safety rules.
