Uttarakhand Cancels Medical Admissions and Expands Probe into Fake Certificates

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami ordered the expansion of an ongoing investigation into fraudulent reservation certificates used during state-level NEET-UG counselling.

Authorities revoked the certificates and cancelled the admission processes of eight candidates after initial complaints revealed fake freedom fighter dependent certificates.

The chief minister directed investigators to trace the culprits behind the document issuance and warned that government officials involved will face severe disciplinary and legal action.
