Panchayat actor Aasif Khan revealed that his wife, Zeba Khan, received threats and abusive direct messages online after defending him over a viral hug with Love Gill on Bigg Boss 20.
Aasif stated that he and his wife initially laughed off the viral clip, and praised her for handling the social media controversy maturely before trolls targeted her and his sister.
The controversy stemmed from clips during the reality show where Love Gill was seen embracing Aasif and sitting on his legs, prior to his recent elimination from the house.
