Vijay Sethupathi's action-thriller 'Maharaja' is set to be remade in Hollywood, marking the first Tamil film to receive a Hollywood remake.
Producer Sudhan Sundaram confirmed that a Hollywood agency is in talks with Matthew McConaughey to play the lead role in the project slated to go on floors next year.
Directed by Nithilan Swaminathan, the original 2024 film earned ₹91.65 crore at the box office in China and won a National Film Award for best supporting actress.
