Sashi Sivramkrishna blends history and UFOs in new docufiction

Bengaluru economist and filmmaker Sashi Sivramkrishna released a new docufiction film titled The Incidents at Pawgur, 1830.

The film blends fictional characters with real history, tracing a contemporary UFO encounter alongside the 19th-century journey of British surveyor John Warren through Pavagada.

The hybrid film was shot over eight days in February 2026 and has been selected for screening at the OFFNI Cine Fest 2026 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
