A UN Security Council monitoring team report officially attributed the November 10, 2025, car bomb blast near Delhi's Red Fort to the al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS).
The NIA chargesheeted 10 individuals linked to the AQIS affiliate Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind for the explosion, which resulted in 11 fatalities and significant property damage.
The UN report noted that AQIS leadership remains in Kabul with Taliban-issued national IDs, while the group continues to develop logistics networks and explore chemical and biological weapon capabilities.
