NSA Ajit Doval Meets Chinese VP Han Zheng in Beijing

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met Chinese Vice-President Han Zheng on August 25, 2026, to discuss border peace and bilateral relations ahead of the 25th round of boundary talks.

The discussions focused on maintaining tranquility along the 3,488 km India-China border, following the consensus established between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Xi Jinping in Kazan in October 2024.

Doval is scheduled to hold further boundary negotiations with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi later today, ahead of President Xi Jinping's expected visit to India for the September 12 BRICS Summit.
