Five-Storey Building Collapses in Delhi's Satya Niketan

A five-storey building used as a student hostel collapsed in Satya Niketan, South West Delhi, at 01:33 p.m. on September 6, 2026.

Six people have been rescued so far, while emergency teams including eight fire tenders are searching for an unknown number of residents feared trapped under the debris.

Local reports suggest at least 30 students resided in the building, and police have cordoned off the area to facilitate ongoing rescue operations involving JCB machinery.
