Massachusetts authorities are searching for 22-year-old Ryan Hanafin as a person of interest after his 49-year-old mother, Andria Hanafin, was found shot dead inside her Reading home on Thursday.
The victim's husband discovered the body in the kitchen at around 12:30 am, while their 13-year-old son was unharmed in the house and an older son was absent with his vehicle.
Reading police suspended Ryan Hanafin's firearm license, and police chief David Clark warned the public not to approach him as he is considered potentially armed and dangerous.
