Anahat Singh Defeats Farida Mohamed in Opening Round of Qatar Classic

Indian squash player Anahat Singh defeated higher-ranked Egyptian Farida Mohamed in four games at the Qatar Classic on Saturday.

The world No. 20 teenager recorded set scores of 13-11, 3-11, 11-7, and 11-7 in the opening round of the USD 242,000 PSA Platinum event.

Anahat will face Belgium's world No. 9 Tinne Gilis in her next match of the tournament.
